In the seventies, Alberta Avenue fell on hard times and house prices were less than today's vehicle prices. It is located north of downtown core near Blatchford in Central Edmonton. Each community is currently undergoing revitalization and has increasingly become a more desirable place to live due to its close proximity to the downtown core.
