Beaumont Alberta is a French-speaking municipality touching the edges of southeast Edmonton. Beaumont, originally a French farming community, is now a city with the downtown core resembling a French village with unique architecture and red brick walkways. Bon Accord Alberta is a great town north of the city and popular with DND members who choose to enjoy the small town atmosphere. It is located a few minutes from Gibbons. Bon Accord was the first community in Canada to earn the International Dark-Sky Association designated.
Devon is a friendly town located a few minutes southwest of the city with all major amenities. This is one of the best places in Alberta to purchase a home and a great place for enjoying outdoor activities including ample walking trails and fishing. Devon is known for the Devonian & Alberta Botanic Garden.
Fort Saskatchewan is a well-established municipality, nicknamed "The Fort". It is known for the petrochemical facilities and its flock of 50 sheep that roam its downtown park throughout the summer months. Leduc is a busy municipality south of Edmonton near the international airport, making it a popular place to purchase real estate for people working in the oil field. With the recent downturn in the real estate market due to the loss of oil & gas jobs, Leduc has several houses and homes which have been foreclosed and now are bank owned.
Legal is another favourite town to purchase real estate for our Canadian Armed Forces DND members with a surrounding country feel, the affordability of new houses and a relatively short commute to CFB Edmonton Garrison. Legal was established as a Francophone community in 1894.
Morinville is another town very popular with our Canadian Armed Forces member with the short commute to CFB Edmonton Garrison. Morinville is a fast growing town, a few minutes from St. Albert and is becoming more of a retirement town for our ageing population.
Sherwood Park is a large hamlet east of Edmonton in Strathcona County. Homes in Sherwood Park feature new builds, mature houses along tree-lined streets and several acreages sized lots in subdivisions. Sherwood Park, similar to St Albert is considered an elite community.
Spruce Grove is a fast-growing municipality, west of Edmonton in Parkland County. Over the last decade, some of our best home builders have contributed to this growth. Although Spruce Grove is a city, it still offers a small town atmosphere and is home to a few Winter Olympics winners.
St Albert is located northwest of Edmonton and is an elite community with a high Caucasian demographic in Sturgeon County. Houses here range from basic bungalows to luxury homes.
