Avonmore - South East Edmonton Real Estate Listings

Avonmore is an irregular quadrilateral shaped community known for the popular Mill Creek ravine in the southeastern part of the city is bounded by 75 Street, Argyll Road and the Mill Creek Ravine. It is in real estate zone 17, south of King Edward Park. Avonmore is named after Algernon William Yelverton, Viscount Avonmore, an Irish priest and adventurer who stopped in Edmonton en route to an 1887 gold rush expedition in the Klondike.
