Houses in Bearspaw range in price from above average to luxury prices. This is one of the most desirable areas in the southern portion of the Kaskitayo district. It is located south of Keheewin, west of South Edmonton Common, across from Twin Brooks, bounded by the Blackmud Creek Ravine. It was named for Chief Masgwaahisd Bears Paw of the Stoney Band, who signed Band Treaty Number 7 at Blackfoot Crossing in 1877.
