About Belvedere Edmonton

Belvedere is a historic community located in the Steel Heights area in northeast Edmonton between York and Delwood. It is bounded by Fort Road, 66 Street and 137 Avenue to the north. The majority of real estate in Belvedere consists of older bungalows with larger lots which are great for families. Several of the houses offer both legal and in-law suites. Perfect for residual income for Belvedere homeowners. Belvedere Edmonton has a great walk score and is near to several amenities including Home Depot, Costco, Staples and the Belvedere LRT Station. Originally, Belvedere was part of the village of North Edmonton, then the town of Beverly. Today, Belvedere Edmonton still features a few of these historical landmarks including the Transit Hotel on the corner of 66 Street and the ten-story brick smokestack that used to be part of the Canadian Packers Plant built in 1936, closed in 1980, but which now stands alone in an empty field.
