Canon Ridge Edmonton lies within the Hermitage area along Victoria Trail and the River Valley is an awesome outdoor recreational spot all year round located between Overlanders and Kernohan. It is named for an Anglican minister who arrived in Edmonton in 1875 which had two cattle farms until as late as 1960. Canon Ridge land development was held up during the 1960s while government officials and developers addressed concerns about residential properties too near the industrial plants in the vicinity.
