About Delwood Edmonton

Houses in Delwood are very popular with Edmonton's military members and Canadian Armed Forces in northeast Edmonton. It is located about 15 minutes straight north to CFB Garrison and is currently one of the best places to invest in real estate. Houses in Delwood are mature homes with large backyards, which make them an excellent location to rebuild brand new duplexes, infills, a larger detached house or add a garden suite. Delwood is located in the Northmount Edmonton Area between Kildare and Glengarry, north of the Yellowhead Trail bounded by 137 Avenue and 82 Street in real estate zone 02. There are two schools in Delwood whose language programs include French immersion and is close to the Belvedere LRT Station. Delwood has existed since the early 1900s and was likely named in honor of Edward Delegare “Del” Grierson, a prominent landowner and politician.
