Duggan in south central Edmonton is situated between Rideau Park and Steinhauer in the Kaskitayo Area in real estate zone 16. Houses in Duggan were built during the 1960s to 1980s. These houses are one of Edmonton's best-priced homes in Central South Edmonton and offer great choices for new home buyers looking to purchase duplexes and bungalow style properties with in-law and basement suites. Duggan is between two of our major LRT Transit stops- Southgate and Century Park. Duggan Edmonton, located in real estate zone 16 in South Edmonton, south of Whitemud Drive and only a few minutes south of the University of Alberta, Southgate Shopping Centre and close to the Southgate-Century Park LRT Stations. The Duggan - Kaskitayo Area district was once owned by J. J. Duggan, a pioneer, and mayor of early rival Edmonton - City of Strathcona. Large-scale housing development in South Edmonton and the Duggan Area began in the 1960s and peaked during the 1970s, but a small amount of real estate development and later redevelopment persisted from 1980 onwards.
