About Forest Heights Edmonton

Forest Heights Edmonton is a favorite south east Edmonton community, near Ottewell and Bonnie Doon with winding green curves of the River Valley. Four bridges provide access to North Edmonton, while area business is concentrated on the roads which bound the vicinity. Forest Heights was initially developed in 1911 by Windsor Realty. It is assumed that James H. McKinley, owner of Windsor Realty and an Edmonton alderman.

Forest Heights Homes

Real Estate construction in Forest Heights and the Capilano Area began in the 1950s and approximately half of Forest Height's real estate was between the end of the war and 1960. The dominant house structure type along the quiet interior streets is the detached house with many sitting on the south bank of the valley where the river makes a bend from the north to east.
