Although homes in Hollick Kenyon are the oldest houses in the Pilot Sound district, they are relatively young and were constructed in the late 1990s and early 2000s. There is currently a new housing pocket in Hollick Kenyon with up and coming new builds. The Hollick Kenyon community features a large lake and green spaces. Hollick Kenyon is located in the Pilot Sound Area between Matt Berry and Brintnell, along 167 Avenue, 153 Avenue and 59A Street in North Edmonton. Hollick Kenyon Edmonton is a favourite community among our Armed Forces Members, DND, and Air-force in north Edmonton. It is a relatively new community a few minutes from the Edmonton Garrison. Hollick Kenyon was named after Herbert "Bertie" Hollick Kenyon, who piloted flights over the Antarctic as part of the first mapping of that territory. A stormwater lake located in the south-west and pipeline corridor provides residents with access to open space along with a series of pathways providing pedestrian connections between residential and parks areas. Real estate in Hollick Kenyon began construction in the early 1990's.
