About Ottewell Edmonton

Ottewell Edmonton is one of the largest and favorite communities in central east Edmonton between Holyrood, Idylwylde and Fulton Place. The area is named for the Ottewell family, who were among the first settlers south of the river in the 1880s and whose house is now on display in Fort Edmonton Park. Places of worship in this community include the Christian Reformed, United, St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic and Braemar Baptist Churches.
