About Ozerna Edmonton

Ozerna is located in the Lake District in the far north Edmonton, between Mayliewan, Matt Berry, and the Northmount Area, bounded by 66 Street, 153 Avenue, and 167 Avenue. similar to other Lake District, Palisades and Pilot Sound and communities, Ozerna Edmonton is a great place for our military members to purchase a houses keeping in mind resale value for their next posting and is only ten minutes north to the Edmonton Garrison. Real Estate construction within Ozerna began in the 1980s and continued on well into the 2000s. Ozerna was planned to accommodate predominantly single-detached houses, and about 80 percent of residential real estate units within this part of the Lake District is in this form along with a few duplexes and upper-scale town homes. Ozerna is a Ukrainian word that means lake area. The Ozerna community is located within the north Edmonton Lake District, along 167 Avenue to the north, 66 Street, 153 Ave and 73 Street. In addition to the central park site, a lake and linear park that runs on top of the power line right-of-way provide additional open spaces and pedestrian connections. McConachie and Schonsee are Ozerna's neighbors also offer similiar newer homes for sale. Properties in Ozerna are a popular place for military members to purchase their homes, keeping future resale in mind and within a 15-minute commute north to the Edmonton Garrison. Home construction within Ozerna began in the 1980s and continued on well into the 2000s. There are only a few duplexes, town homes and other condominium structures.
