Pilot Sound is a newer district in northeast Edmonton encompassing five residential communities including Brintnell, Cy Becker, Hollick-Kenyon, Matt Berry, and McConachie. Prior to 1981, Pilot Sound was originally used for agriculture. Each Pilot Sound community is named after a historical aviation pilot that instigated brave air manoeuvres in both World Wars.
