About Rossdale Edmonton

Rossdale is located in Central Edmonton between the city core and north of the Saskatchewan River bounded by Bellamy, Riverdale and McDougall hill. Rossdale is one of Edmonton oldest neighborhoods situated south of Oliver and the city core. Rossdale was named after Donald Ross who built Edmontons first hotel at the foot of McDougall Hill. Many of these houses are between 50 and 75 years old. Over the last decade, several of these houses have been bought and will be replaced by newer luxury houses, infills, and up-scale luxury duplexes. Today Rossdale is a prime real estate location situated high above, overlooking the river valley next to the Remax field. This community is smaller than average, with plenty of walking trails and only a few houses come up for sale every year.
